Not sure if warcraft3FT is running

I have read the manual and searched the forums and I cannot find an answer to my problem.

When I downloaded the amxmodx 1.5 from http://wc3mods.net/war3ft/downloads.php.

I have a few mods that run and work fine. When I remove the semi colon from the plugins.ini file for warcraft3FT.amxx , I restart my server and it crashes. I have changed the amx_debug 1 to amx_debug 0 in the amxx.cfg file.

I have changed my liblist file lines to:
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"
gamedll_linux "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod_i386.so"

The other 2 plugins work fine, so I'm not sure what I am missing here.
I was able to remove the semi-colon once and the server did not crash, but when I chose my team/weapon, the server did not ask me what race I would like to be. This leads me to think that the plugin was not running.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to tell from the console if the plugin is running?

Thanks for the reply, I have already looked and read and followed that.

So it turns out that the mod is installed correctly and running. I typed meta list in the console and the warcraft mod is running. However, The menu to select a race does not show up after selecting a team/weapon. I have the manual/forum/announcements/stickys (again) and cannot find any info on what to do if the menu does not show up.

I am the only one in my server right now due to testing of mods. Does more than one person have to join for the menu to show up?

"meta list", shows that the module is loaded, not that the plugin is running (it's in the post I asked you to read). Humm, this reminds me of an old AMX Mod X memory bug, but it's impossible if you are running the latest version, it was fixed. Anyhow the only way to get rid of it was to reinstall the whole server, not just the MODs or the AddOns, but everything.

So I tried and tried again. This is the error in my log.

L 08/19/2005 - 10:45:38: [AMXX] Plugin "warcraft3FT.amxx" failed to load: Module "cstrike" required for plugin. Check modules.ini.

I am using this for Day of Defeat, so why would the cstrike module be required?

Are you sure you got the correct plugin? For DoD you need warcraft3FT_dod.amxx. On the other hand I'm not sure if Geesu tested the DoD version against AMX Mod X 1.50, so I'll let him reply, just in case.

From the download section, this is the zip package i choose:

Required Server Files (not preconfigured files) (amxmod x 1.5x only, dod/cstrike/czero)
Server Files (2.34 MB)

from amxmodx/configs the plugins.ini file has this line:

; Custom - Add 3rd party plugins here
warcraft3FT.amxx debug

When I try the warcraft3FT_dod.amxx it just crashes the server, but the file is in the amxmodx/plugins folder.

You can't force the server your way, it has to be the other way around. If you got a DoD server how do you think you'll get it running with the CS/CS:CZ plugin?

I finally got it to work. I deleted all the files I installed using the Required Server Files (not preconfigured files) (amxmod x 1.5x only, dod/cstrike/czero)
Server Files (2.34 MB)

I then downloaded these amxmod x 1.5x (6.08 MB) v2.2.5
dod 08/08/2005 and configured them for my PC (LAN server).

After everything was running smoothly, I uploaded to the game server.
