Warcraft 3 MODs

Hello.

I got a really anoying problem with my warcraft mod version. I'm using Warcraft mod RC8. People are losing they're xp. I have tried it myself.'
2 races smelt together with xp. Can this problem be fixed by updating my version of warcraft to RC11? How do i update? And can the updates be done without losing all the server xp?
