OK, I searched and could nt find an answr so here goes...

When people in my server which works fine except for this problem...
If they gain xp with one race then during the sme map decide to change race, all the xp they gained disappears for the last race and does nt go to the new race either. I run long term xp with a mysql data base at my website... If the map changes everything seems to work fine, its just if you change during the map and typin savexp doesnt help either...

Thx,
Daver

Hi, Daver, long time no see.

Lets see: Warcraft 3 FT version? AMX Mod X version?

How did you set the following in "addons/amxmodx/configs/war3FT.cfg":
  • sv_mysql_save_end_round
  • FT_disable_savexp
I'll try it myself and post back in case I find something.

Daver:

Hello again, just to say that I tested it and I'm unable to reproduce. It's saving the XP to the race you change from if you change in the middle of a round.

Got both sv_mysql_save_end_round and FT_disable_savexp set to '1'.

I'll move this to Help/Support, if it ends up being a bug it'll be moved back to Bug Reports.

i had that problem before....

its been awhile and it was one of my other admins that fixed it

im not sure but i think it was because the mysql host was to far away or it was a junky one and it lost connection sometimes when people changed race

something that always prevented it from happening was say "savexp" before u change race...that seemed to prevent it from doing that

i'll ask next time i see him what he did to fix it

If I remember it right, you in time were setting it up to save to a database running on your webserver.

Are you still saving XP to your webserver? Has anything changed regarding the network topology and/or connections?

Better check these things out together with what Geesu asked.

One week without reply, assuming the problem is dealt with, if not the original author should PM me to reopen it.
