geesu do you know what might be giving me this error?

since i have installed 2.2.8 my server has been crashing on every map change. i tried reverting back to 2.2.6 which i never had a problem with and it still gives me the same errors. i checked the metamod plugins that are loaded thru hlsw and it says its running war3ft_amxx_i386 v2.2.5

i rebooted my whole box to see if that was the problem but still problems.
i shut downmy other 3 server and still has the same problem. pls help people are going crazy mot being able to play wc3

EDIT:nvm geesu i deleted all my server folders and reinstalling everything from scratch. pls dont go into ssh im uplaoding all files and see if this will fix it. if it doesnt i will get back to you.

ok i give up i wasted 3 hrs of reuploading everything and it still crashes every machange . can u help me geesu

ya im having the same problem on my war3ft linux server but i dont have ssh access to it cause i rent from a gsp.

could this have anything to do with the update with steam on the 21

The update from steam should have fixed a few things, not made them worse :/

What distros are you all running ?

fedora 4....servers will not start secure anymore for us but still run...since 1 server has not been shut down since the update it its running fine and stable

can you look into my box geesu its still doing it. ive tried everything even taking out all plugins and adding em 1 by 1 and still nothing. using fedora as well. could it be that the modules running isnt matching the wc3 version thats running? or can u post 2.2.9 pls?

use old steam...new update glitched

that will fix it if the problems due to the latest update of steam

problem with that is. i have auto update on my .sh scripts and i dont know how to revert back to old steam configs.

EDIT: after a couple of more hrs of googling i think i know what is giving the fatal error and have found a solution i belive. for anyone else having this problem go here and download this plugin loaded thru metamod.

I had the same problem with the new update I had my hoster game2xs revert back to an earlier version but wc3ft would start and run ok but as soon as anyone joined the server it would automaticaly crash

For the moment I am having to use wc3XP

Mind you metamod was throwing up a few error warnings about a mismatch with wc3ft.

ok i thought that metamod plugin would help and it did for a couple of hrs but now its crashing every time the mapchanges again IM me geesu pls if u have a chance i got it earlier but wasnt on

Same thing is happening to me. I am just going to wait till they fix it. I have wasted enought time today and yesterday anyway. Right now i just disabled WC3FT and it runs a little better.

Someone posted the rollback version on those forums but i dont have SSH access so i cannot do anything for my server. So i am screwed until steam fixes the problem.

ok i did a rollback to v24 of steam and went back to 2.2.6 and now server is running smooth again thx krazy. guess ill wait for the updates of steam i went to their forums and it is the update they did that was messing everyon up. if anyone needs the rollback version let me kow and ill post it

krazy all you need is ftp and upload the files you dont need ssh for it

My ftp access doesnt give me access before the folder that has the files that i need to overwrite. It starts me out in the cstrike folder. Plus i am pretty for sure my server provider has it in autoupdate mode anyway.
