Hi,

do you know when it´s gome out? Like public downloads?
And way enybody can´t download it at this time? It´s in beta test?

I thing it´s very, very cool and i whant to run it on my server.
I hope i can download it soon.

i have a problem

i put on my server the new war 3.0 alpha But when i start my server , its writing that way :

1: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 1
2: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 2
3: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 3
4: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 4

5: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 5
6: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 6
7: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 7
8: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 8
9: ML_NOTFOUND: RACENAME 9

What Its The Problem ?????

It is dealing with the lang file. For a quick fix, go to addons/amxmodx/data/lang/war3ft.txt and find these lines

Code: Select all

RACE_0 = No Race
RACE_1 = Undead Scourge
RACE_2 = Human Alliance
RACE_3 = Orcish Horde
RACE_4 = Night Elves of Kalimdor
RACE_5 = Blood Mage
RACE_6 = Shadow Hunter
RACE_7 = Warden
RACE_8 = Crypt Lord
RACE_9 = Chameleon

Replace them with this

Code: Select all

RACE_0 = No Race
RACENAME1 = Undead Scourge
RACENAME2 = Human Alliance

opps, my bad. try putting a "_" in between the word "RACENAME" and the #. So it looks like this "RACENAME_1"

can somebody Compile that for me becouse when i use
./amxxpc warcraft3FT.sma it´s give me this:

Get these from in the game. I am using the file from the cvs to do my quick fix. Provide me with this info and I might get it to stop it until Gessu sees this and fixes it

I think 3.0 is great but i can really see the potential in it. Finally got it working, there are some problems with the lang file. The help menu has iteams below it that are not in it so it cannot find those commands, fixed it by just moving them all up towards the top. But there are still a few ones that say ML_notfoud, im still trying to figure those out.

Mark i wouldn't fix bugs, I just haven't had time to develop lately, RL has been kicking my ass... I'm in an internship and am also working on an after-work project until august, so hopefully after that I'll have more time

TEG - Thank you for your wonderful comparison to us. People with servers are more than welcome to use 3.0, but the players playing on it might not enjoy it due to the bugs . Be sure to remember that the time spent making mods is not owed to anyone, and it is provided only because the developers want players to enjoy something different.

Overkill - Do not bother downloading 3.0. It is really buggy since the developers have had no time lately to work on it.
