complieing wc3ft files

(hope this was made in the right spot)

I think i figred out how to work the complire Via the wikki sit (useing cmd) but its still not changeing anything in game..

So.. heres what i'v done..

1) Downloaded the entire scripting folder.

2) open cmd

3) change dir to the scripting folder loc.

4) type in amxxpc.exe warcraft3ft.sma

5) it goes through its complie stage...

6) reupload the scriptting folder

7) reboot the server.

and theres still no changes in game..

now im woundering.. did i do something wrong here?

Did you put the compiled version of the warcraft3.sma found in the compiled folder into your plugins folder?

he did not... look at 6) ...

once u run the compiling tool, all the *.sma files in your scripting folder will be compiled, the output ( the *-amxx ) files will be places in /compiled. those you have to copy to yout gameserver into the /plugins folder ( overwrite older files ) and change the map ...

ok, i just checked the compile file.. and theres nothing therE?

when do i need to run Compile.exe? right after i run | amxxpc.exe warcraft3ft.sma?

I believe that compile.exe calls amxxpc.exe so if you run one, you run the other. Type in JUST "amxxpc.exe" and it should compile all files. Should generate the folder

oh it generated the folder... but its empty.
