3.0 and 2.3.2 XP saving..

Okay, I think this is why this is happeneing. I am trying to use a databse to save XP to 2.3.2 servers, and a 3.0 server. Is there any possible way the XP can be saved and be the SAME on the 2.3.2 and 3.0 servers.

It's a gaint long error of that, there was more, but i didnt copy all of it..

Okay, it stopped giving me that error, after having it for the first time.

But is it still possible to have 2.3.2 XP and 3.0 XP the same
if one person has level 10 on the 2.3.2 server, will it be possible to have it on the 3.0 server..

Nope. The databases for the 2 are different now. They will not become the same because that would require to much work, so you will have to deal with the new scheme if you want to use 3.0

All you have to do is point the new version to the old 2.3.2 database and the plugin will automatically convert it to the new format

The information for mysql is the same for 2.3.2 and 3.0
they are running off the same databse.

but i dont understand what you mean point the new version to the 2.3.2 databse.

but also, i've read if taht the FINAL release of 3.0 will convert old xp.

so if i upgrade on of my 2.3.2 servers to 3.0 FINAL players will still have the same xp, because it converts..
which means it can be shared..

If you're running 3.0 RC8

Turn off the server

Delete these tables:
Browse wc3_config
Browse wc3_player
Browse wc3_player_extra
Browse wc3_player_race
Browse wc3_player_skill
Browse wc3_web_race
Browse wc3_web_skill

Turn on server

Done

It had the same effect, it gave the error i said in my first post, and then it fixed it self.

What I want to know if I can get 2.3.2 and 3.0RC8 XP to be SHARED.
So if i have level 10 in my 2.3.2 servers i'll have level 10 in 3.0RC8 servers

When i followed your steps, i got the above error i mentioned, which automatically goes away after the first time. and it restarted the little xp anyone had

What u see in your logs is no error.
Thats part of the conversion from 2.3.2 db-scheme to the 3.0 db-scheme.

U will get this only the first time u start your server with 3.0.
It checks if u have all tables created for 3.0.
If not, it will create it and put all data into the new db-scheme.

The second time u got this messages:
Before u deleted the tables as Geesu said.
So it checked the DB at next startup.
Couldn't find the needed tables, created them again and filled in the data needed for 3.0.
